He’s been dubbed as “a horrible archaeologist but a great diplomat for archaeology.” To a ten year old boy though that hardly matters. What matters is he has an iconic hat and snaps a whip, and that quite frankly is cool. We couldn’t wait to see what the team behind Posh Tot Events dreamed up for Hayden’s Indiana themed 10th Birthday Adventure, and needless to say they blew it out of the water. Donning the iconic wide brimmed fedora the kids each grabbed their mission map and headed into the temple of doom.
We all know Indy may hate snakes, but nothing is cooler to a 10 year old boy then things that like to crawl and slither.
We love the table scape designed by Posh Tot Events that kept the Indiana Jones theme going…all the way down to the cupcakes.
What can we say except the kid in us absolutely loved Hayden’s 10th birthday celebration. Designed by Posh Tot Events this Indiana Jones inspired party included a treasure hunt, reptile show and sent everyone home with a souvenir hat and whip. Archaeology is cool once again.
Pull out your Easter baskets because our friends over at Posh Tot Events have once again given a huge dose of creative inspiration with this fun Easter infused Bunny Hop. A light hearted mix of springtime decorations, fun craft stations, and plenty of sweet treats left the little ones smiling ear to ear.
The Easter bunny never left us anything like this. Cake pops shaped as eggs, pastel jelly beans, peeps and festive m&ms were just a few of the sweet treats.
You can’t have all those sweets without something to carry them away in, so the kids got to decorate their own easter baskets.
As well as some spring time flowers made from recycled egg cartons.
But the favorite station had to be number three with it’s egg and bunny shaped sugar cookies ready for decorating.
It’s always a treat to see what Jen and the ladies of Posh Tot Events come up with, and if you would like to see their Valentines Day Tea Party CLICK HERE.
Walking up the brick paved driveway we were immediately taken in by the Savannah charm of Jay and Brittany’s new Augusta home, and though they are 48 hours from closing it was the perfect setting for Brittany’s Bumble Bee themed baby shower. Hosted by her best friend and fellow Wildcat, Kristen Klingshirn, this baby shower left no detail unturned. Between plantable invitations (flower seeds are imbedded in it’s eco-friendly paper), Bumble Bee cake balls, and jars of honey party favors the attention to detail and love between these ladies was evident.
With how much we loved the details and layout of this baby shower we couldn’t get around what a gorgeous mother-to-be Brittany is, so there was no way we were heading out before spending some time with her.
We were a little shocked when we first heard Kristin talk about the baby shower she was throwing for Brittany. In fact if you happen to listen to The Bert Show you may have been a little shocked too, but then we stumbled upon this quote about Kentucky girls. ”Tough girls come from New York. Sweet girls, they’re from Georgia. But us Kentucky girls, we have fire and ice in our blood. We can ride horses, be a debutante, throw left hooks, and drink with the boys, all the while making sweet tea, darlin’. And if we have an opinion, you know you’re gonna hear it.” ~Ashley Judd. Thank you Ashley Judd for helping us to understand the two sides to these University of Kentucky ladies.
Brittany you are a gorgeous mother-to-be.
Perhaps our favorite set-up for the baby shower was the cake table surrounded by custom made baby onesies.
The details kept flowing through the gift table.
The empty house made a perfect blank canvas for the baby shower. The open space and dark hardwood floors allowed the color spread to pop, and nowhere was this more evident then in the dining area.
A stunning couple to photograph we hung back and watched as Jay and Brittany would softly talk. The love and admiration these two have for each other is magnetic.

Congratulations Brittany & Jay we can’t wait to meet your little blessing.
Valentine’s Day and the month of February seem the perfect time for sweet tea parties and renewing friendships with some light hearted cheer. This adorable children’s tea party designed by Posh Tot Events was both a feast for the eyes as well as the sweet tooth. Held at their new venue in historic Roswell, Posh Tot Events had no trouble filling the room as kids were treated to arts & crafts, a dress up photo booth, treat bags and some incredible finger food (what kid wouldn’t love some heart shaped Nutella sandwiches.
Though we didn’t get to cut our sweet tooth on any of the goodies the visual feast of all the incredible details was enough to keep our hearts content.
Love these cute little heart topped cupcakes by SUCRE’.
Little heart covered bags, and a spread of sweet treats made sure no one left empty handed.
A gorgeous palate of reds, pinks and whites made the entire room feel light and playful.
Adore the mix of mini heart shaped sandwiches the ladies designed.
Photo booths are always fun, but when children are at the center of one that’s down right precious.
As always we are blown away by Jen and the group of ladies at Posh Tot Events.
“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive, that is youer than you.”
~ Happy Birthday to You, Dr. Seuss
We were there when she turned two, so there was no way we were missing out on watching, cute as a button, Olivia celebrate her third birthday. A music themed celebration at the Ansley Golf Club kept everyone entertained, and the birthday girl smiling throughout the evening.
You’re living day to day in your regular muggle existence when in an absurd magical twist of fate a letter arrives on your door step. Next thing you know you find yourself surrounded by wizards, a snowy owl, a phoenix feather wand, and jelly beans of every flavor. You have just arrived at Hayden’s 9th birthday party, and with an incredible Harry Potter theme designed by Posh Tot Events it’s everything a Harry Potter fan could wish for.
The ladies of Posh Tot Events were on hand as Hogwart’s school masters to teach the young wizards in the ways of wand making, badge design, and potion mixing.
A spot on Harry Potter, Hayden with his younger brother Hollis who was a perfect Ron.
After the kids attended each class they were broken into their prospective schools, and it was to the back yard for a game of Quidditch.
Hogwarts took the win as Harry found the golden snitch.
An impromptu toast by the birthday boy himself and it was time for dinner and cake.
We had such a blast capturing this party, and loved everything Posh Tots created that just blew the minds of these kids.
I don’t know how many years Harry Potter has been around, but if it’s close to nine years then it’s fitting that Hayden celebrated his 9th birthday with a Harry Potter themed party. Posh Tot Events did an amazing job designing the Grand Hall, and though we can’t wait to share the entire celebration for the meantime here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes of today’s shoot.
