We believe the experience of having your photo taken is as important as the final product, so when we met up with Ashley and Sean at Vinewood in historic Newnan we knew it was going to be a fun filled evening.  After all, we first met Ashley as well as her sweet mom and sister just a few weeks earlier, and spent most of that first meeting laughing and swapping stories.  Ashley’s beautiful smile and laid back personality was sure to translate seamlessly in front of the lens.  It was just a bonus that Sean’s upbeat energy and witty since of humor was just as captivating.  Ashley and Sean…we had a great time hanging out with you two, and can’t wait for your beautiful Vinewood wedding later this spring.

“Tiffany and Robert!”  Gina is immediately on her feet, and rushing towards us.  Arms wide she embraces each of us each in a hug.  Not just any hug, but the type of hug one might expect to see at the arrival gate at LAX.  The type of hug that is so genuine and full of excitement it makes you feel like the most important person alive.  But wait…today is Gina’s wedding day, why is she so excited to see us.  This is simply who Gina is.  The embodiment of so much love and joy if she doesn’t let it out through laughter and hugs she may just explode into rainbows and unicorns.  And if there were ever a day that this might happen it may just be today as Gina prepares to marry her best friend.  Gina and Stephen we can’t tell you how appreciative and honored we are to have been a part of your day, and how much we value your friendship.

Meeting up with this gorgeous duo the eve before Christmas eve was a beautiful way to transition into the holidays.  Capturing them at the same place they first got engaged simply made the evening that much sweeter.  A beautiful overcast sky and spacious landscape made Bulloch Hall the perfect backdrop for Courtney and Seth’s sweet engagement session.

Courtney & Seth…we can’t wait until your beautiful Primrose Cottage wedding, and wish you both a wonderful and belated Happy New Year.

Back in September we had the pleasure of traveling to Tampa to work with Lauren Grove and an amazing group of creatives on a Rustic Wedding inspiration shoot.  The moment we wrapped we were immediately ready to get back to Florida, and team up again.  This beach bridal shoot was born out of that desire, and built around a sense of simplicity.  The simple pleasure of a gorgeous color palette, seasonal light, and a single subject. Romantic and playful we wanted to focus on the organic beauty of a bride.

Occasions Magazine sneaked an early release of their winter issue on digital newsstands, and though we can’t wait to get our hands on a hard copy we thought this lovely Rustic Wedding setting was a beautiful way to kick off the new year.

Produced by Lauren Grove of Every Last Detail this inspiration shoot originated around doing a styled shoot based off of our company’s name, Rustic White.  Lauren is a creative power house and when she suggested this we were immediately on board.  What we found out later was she was going to make us really think about what Rustic White means to us.  This is the answer we gave her, and along with an amazing team of vendors this is what Lauren turned it into.

“When we were first started brainstorming business names we knew we had to come up with a name that fit both us as individuals, us as a partnership, and was reflective of the type of imagery we like.  We batted ideas around for weeks, and the word “Rustic” kept coming up, which to us conveys thoughts of honesty, natural and simple.  These are all things that we appreciate in both our personal lives and in the work we hope to create.  We eventually landed on the word “White” because white is simple and clean, but it is also modern and minimalistic.  It cuts away all the clutter, and leaves you with clean space.  This is something that is also important to us in our personal lives, and in photography.  We don’t have a lot of “clutter” in our house.  We like clean open spaces, and when you strip away the excess it’s easier to focus on what’s important.  In our photography we tend to shoot tight with a shallow depth of field and with clean negative space because we want to strip away the excess, and make the focus of the image the couple.  To us Rustic White is honest, simple, clean imagery that focuses on capturing natural moments in a couple’s life.”

The past year has given us so much to be thankful for.  The friendships we developed, the adventures we had, the little victories we won.  All of it has served to enrich our lives, and help us grow not only as artists but as people.  Thinking back over the past year these moments stood out as some of our favorites.
